Question: Hi, I'm a stay at home mom wanting to get back into the work force. I'm interested in getting certified as a coder. But I have no background experience in this field at all. I am 19 years old and have been working as a Medical Office Manager in a practice of 6 physicians for the past 3 months. I have earned a Medical Assisting Diploma and a Medical Billing and Coding Diploma in June of 2009.
